Inter-tl 5000 system, we are running out of phantom devices, we give each extension a Cell, Home and Forwrad extension. Is there a way to give the system more phantoms?

There is no way that I know to give the system more phantom extensions.
One thing you can do if you available slots is to create a DEM-16 card and make all of the circuits dual single lines. You can program those the same way you would your phantoms and it should work just fine.

How would I create a DEM card? Is there documentation on this anywhere? I'm going to check db Help files now and see what I can find.

create IP devices use them as phantoms just make the MAC 00:10:30:00:10:00 for ext 1000 00:10:36:00:10:50 for ext 1050 etc (just makes it easy to not duplicate a MAC address Randy

Randy, I was thinking along the same lines. Will you run into license problems if you're using real IP phones?
