I have a 6 member huntgroup. Can I have those keysets ring differently if it is a huntgoup call as opposed to all others? Anyway to acomplish this, my supervisor want these calls to get special attention.
Thanks, Thomas

Add an analog device as a member of the hunt group, then create a secondary call key for that device and set it to ring with one call present.

Thanks DNS_ON, that sounds like what I need to do.
I am not exactly sure what you mean by "secondary call key".
When you say analog do you mean like a single line device?
Thanks, Thomas

I found where to configure the second ext key but what extension do I put in there. I am trying to ring this device at all times that a call is on any extension in the huntgroup?

Make the single line device a member of the hunt group.
Put that single line device on a secondary call key, set to ring with one call present.
When calls ring into the hunt group, the secondary call key will ring distinctively.

This worked great but the secondary call key only rings when the single line has it's turn in the linear hunt group. I need it to ring constantly while the huntgroup continues to advance keysets. I hope I did not waste your time with the lack of explanation. Is there a way to accomplish this?

I am still looking for a solution to this problem. I would appreciate someone taking a look at this for me.

I you are ringing keysets one at a time within the hunt group, then adding the single-line device itself within the group really doesn't help.
It would be complicated, but you could create a station list for every hunt group member that includes the member and the single-line extension. Then replace the members of the hunt group w\ these lists. You create station lists under System\Devices and Feature Codes\Extension Lists\Station.

Sorry if this sounds overly simplistic but I always tell hunt group members to LOOK at their display WHENEVER their phone makes a ring, bleep, or bloop. It will tell them what they are about to answer (eg. intercom call, hunt group call, DID call, hold recall, etc)
This will work best UNLESS... your users are not sitting in front of their phones and what they are REALLY asking for is a different ring so they know whether to run back to their phone for the the call. If they need the latter functionality, then sell them some CTI stuff to give them the different rings.
