Installed a second SLA. Inbound call makes it to the SLA and if I know it's signalling I can pick up the line and there's a connection. However it just clicks instead of ringing.
The difference between this one and the previous one is the previous one is in a hunt group. Everything else looks to be configured the same.
How do I get it to ring so the fax machine can pick it up? Outbound works just fine.
Thanks.

In programming, check to see the flag Extended Ring Cadence is enabled.
Is the unit properly grounded?

I enabled Extended Ring Cadence but it didn't help. When going back and forth between the SLA that does ring-in and the flags on this one, the only difference is see is that Caller ID - IC has a red X on it. But both are disabled anyway.
Yes it is properly grounded. Perhaps it's just broken.
Thanks!

Here's a critical piece of info: If I IC to that port I get no ring either. If I pick it up when I know it should be ringing I can talk. I tried a different butt set. Tried both ports. The SLA is bad? I have another SLA but it's used. I'll try it.

The SLA doesn't appear to be bad as I swapped in another. I'm missing something. Going hunting.
