Hi,

I am trying to disable two feature codes within Axxess Database Programming. The two in question are Handsfree on/off and Enable Enhanced Speakerphone. I've added a 5th digit to these so it is harder for someone to accidentally enable/disable these feature codes but I would prefer to delete if possible. On a side note, when I dial the feature code for Enable Enhanced Speakerphone my phone informs me that it cannon access this feature. Is there a place in database programming where I can get down to the nuts and bolts of the feature codes or is the only option in Devices and Feature Codes? Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

You cannot disable a feature code. You can change it, as you noted above. You can also, and I highly recommend, enable the system flag “SPCL Key Required For Feature Code Entry” to prevent feature codes from being entered accidentally.

As to Enhanced Speakerphone, it needs to be enabled on a per-station basis. Open a station in programming and use F1 for more info.

If I enabled the system flag for "SPCL Key Required for Feature Code Entry" this would require a user to push the infinity button or a key that I can designate?
