Hello.
I am not that familiar with our phone system so please bare with me. Thanks!
Recently, we had to physically change (punch down) a fax line over to another single line card. Upon doing so, I matched up the old configuration (extension/routing information) to the new one. I can receive faxes. When I try to send a fax, I get a busy signal while it tries to dial the number. It just constantly beeps while trying to dial out and it never makes it. Is there something else that could be denying access to line?
Please let me know if you need more information.

You'll probably have to dial an 8 first for an outside dial tone before sending the fax. You can also set that extension up as a House Phone that will automatically access outgoing dial tone when going off hook. You then wouldn't have to dial 8 first when making an outbound fax.

Stix1,
Thank you so much for your time and consideration. I enabled house phone on the extension and chose 8 for day/night and it worked!
Thank you!!!!!!!
