Anyone know how to program an ACS R4.0 C01 to call return Ext 71 (Group call) back to a voice mail box? Right now if you dial 71, the phones in the group ring but they get a Party is not avail when the rings time out instead of a vm box.

Thanks,

There are different ways to program it. What exactly do you want it to do. Explain the scenario and I'm sure we can help you.

Party is not available sounds like a default message for when a greeting hasn't been recorded in the mail box. Record a greeting for the mail box and see what happens.

Basically I have a support center that when a call comes it it is to ring all lines, if no on answers it should roll to voice mail. I'm using 71 (Calling Group), but there is no mail box associated to it and if I try to program a mailbox to ext 71 it wont work.

Thanks.

Give your last station in that hunt group a voice mail box and give it automatic voice mail coverage and also record a greeting at that station, then when a call goes through and doesn't get answered it will go to that mailbox. Is that what you had in mind?
Hope this helps

Rathor,
Calls to a calling group can not go to voice mail, not answered calls goes back to the specified transfer return extension. After setting up the members to your calling group; do #306 and set a extension for return call; give this ext. a mailbox, this should do what you want.
you should be able to get a manual from sundance.
