I installed DS1 board, programmed ds1 slot, setup trunk gr for PRI, and installed signal-group as the 01b**24 and assignned the trunk group to the sig. gr. but the pri. company still does not see my switch an advise would be greatly appreciated.

You did not mention this, but did you set up the communications-link? I hope this helps.

Did you set up clocking and the rest of the Pri data. If you have, have you done a loop back from the csu to the provider to see if they see they're signal and have you down a loop back on your's to see if it will bring it's self up.

Just another thought. Did you status the trunk group to see if the PRI is OOS-FE or OOS-NE. If it is FE (out-of-service far end) the provider should double check there circuit, as well as you for proper configuration.

The advise above is all good Kwikwire, The most important is to loop back. Nine times out of ten it's the provider. You might want to test with a tech from your T1 provider and make sure all your settings are matched, take your time and go over all of them, then try a loop back.

I install a hardwired loop back plug or jack (RJ48X) as close to my equipment as possible. Then I have the vendor do a loop back test. If this test is good but the circuit still fails when reconnect I find that in 50% of my T-1 installs that the Transmit and Receive pairs are reversed.
