If I replace a telephone that was connected to the system via a 008 ATL module, with an MLX set that would connect into a MLX module, is there a way to keep the same station/extension number?

Let me know.

Thx

Renumber the ATL Set to another number, such as its original 7000 range, then renumber the MLX to the ATL's old Extension Number.

To determine the 7000 range extension number of the ATL, find out what its Logical ID is, then add 7099. Example: ATL is on Logical IS #09 - original extension number is 7108.

Menu - System Program - Exit
System Renumber - Single - Extension
Current Extension Number - Enter
New Extension Number - Enter
Back

Repeat for MLX Extension.
