MY customer change the adminstration password ,and he can't remember it .any help there,thanks in advance.

the default is 1234567, try 2537.

the default is any no . and 2537 is for VS not The partner messaging.but thanks anyway.

They say that you have to call Lucent to set pass back to nothing but give me a day to make some calls and I'll see what I can do.
There is no default password, the first time you log into the Message1 voice mail it will tell you to enter a password with 6 numbers and #. I think what z-man is saying is that most techs put 123456 as a pass for the first time until the customer puts his own in.

you can try the 2537 to see if it works on the R-1. The last couple of these I have worked on, using 1234567 go me in. Worth a shot. There is a back door password, we just have to figure out what it is. Coming from Avaya, it could be anything.

I have been informed that there is no back door to the Message1. If there is AVAYA is not telling anyone. They tell me that you will have to get the guy to rack his brain to remember or call AVAYA. This info comes from a very reliable source. Even if you go into it with a laptop you will have to know the password that he put in. Sorry

Have you tried the cards serial number for the password and then restarting like with MLM to see if it defaults.

TKANK you guys for your efforts,yes I did try all that before I post my message.and I called Avaya,and they told me the same thing ,they can't defaulted ,I don't know how.but I sought just give it a shot. thanks again.

You can call 1-800-628-2888. They can get you in and reset the password, It is a Lucent/AVAYA number so be ready to be chargsd.
