Go to Automatic Line Selection and give it the Transtalk intercom instead of lines.

Thanks. I accidently acheived this goal and now i messed up something because the incoming phone calls all go to the fax at ext 14. I issued a system reset (#728)hoping to re program and no im lost.. can I reset the system so I can re program the phones. I have 3 lines and ext 10 ( the Main) ext 14,16,17,18,19,20. 14 is the fax and 20 is set to no ring.

Thanks Much

If it's an ACS you can pull out the Batt. and then power it down, then power it up to go back to default, but if I were you I would just reprogram the extensions for ringing, assign the ones you want to ring and set ext.14 to no ring.

I am almost there. The odd thing is when I put the phone on hook it rings the intercom and when I pick up I hear the DTMF (something is dialing), every time I hang the phone up it intercoms and the dtmf sound. It goes away if I let it ring 5 times.. What setting would cause this?

Also how do I set it up so all calls (3 lines) all phones ring and who ever answers can transfer to the right ext.

Do I need to mess with Pool Extensions?

Thanks

Go over the wiring and the programming for the phone in trouble.
You can't use pools unless you change the system into a hybrid, then you will have more programming to do. Make sure that you have Automatic Privacy on all phones, assign all three lines to all phones, give all phones direct ringing (but the fax), program your extra buttons for auto dial to extentions. Then you can answer and trans from any phone with a push of a button or if you don't have enough extra buttons all you have to do is press Transfr and dial the station you want to trans to.
Hope this makes sence to ya.

when you answer a call and hear DTMF digits it usually means that extension is assigned as a extension in the voice mail hunt group.

Thanks Much.. I have one more question.

On a Outside Incoming Call (2) of the (3) lines ring at the same time only once then you hear "Your call is being transfered"

I think its something in the VMS but why is line 1 and line 2 ringing at the same time.

1. How do I keep the one incoming call from ringing on 2 lines at the same time
2. How do I stop it from going to VMS after the first ring, I looked at # of rings under VMS cover rings #117 ? and Group Call Distribution #206. As I understand it I dont use group settings unless its 7 for the VMS.

Thank You.

You didn't mention that you have Voice Mail.
The reason it is getting that message is that you don't have your VMS ports assigned in Hunt Group Extensions (#505)in hunt group 7.
Also check your VMS Hunt Delay for day and night.
