Can you tell me what the JPR 1 jumpers are for on both boards, the music input board and the main board on a Partner Plus, R 1 processor Mod.
Thanks, WaM

I believe it feeds back to the mother board for use as background music to the sets. I could be wrong though. I don't have the wiring charts for it.

Interesting, as the BGM does not work.
I only noticed these as I was replacing the Nicad.
I'll give Idacom a call.
Thanks, WaM

I don't think that the Partner Plus R1 had BGM available (Feature 19)

Well, sure, the RCA and pot are for Music on Hold, but Background Music through the telephone sets while the handset is on hook is a software feature. I'd have to get out a manual from Partner Plus R1, but I don't remember them having a whole lot of features we take for granted now.

I know that the Partner Plus 4.1 has background music and I do believe that the R1 has it to. I could be wrong though as I don't have any R1 manuals I use the 4.1 to refer to.
