There is nothing special to installing it, you just put in the next unused slot and program it.You would program it as a 6 port card with the last four ports assigned to hunt group 7 in program #505. What slot is it in then we can tell you which ports to program. Also need to know what other cards are in the system.

I put it in today and when I set Hunt group 7 #505 for extensions 40 41 42 43 to 7 and had the card in it would always answer the system on the first ring and wouldn't play the day or night prompt. When I take it out the system works fine.

It sounds like you have some programming errors, What modules do you have in the system and what slots are they in, it sounds like you have some other ports already programmed to be voice mail. Let us know how your system is set up then we can pin point your problem.

"I have a Partner Mail VS 4Port/20Mailboxes Expansion card Comcode 107884363"

Are you talking about the PCMCIA card that goes into a Partner Mail VS R4 to increase the Port/Mailbox size? Do you have a currently working 2port/10mailbox VSr4, and want to increase the size? If so, you only need to program the tww ports before the exsisting ports into hunt group 7.

If you would post which processor you have, and a list of the cards and their slots, someone could determine which ports need to be programmed, and give you more complete instructions.

Ok I have a 5 Slot Carrier Looking at it from left to right

206 R4.1
206 R4.1
308R 1.0 ACS
Mail VS 4.1

That is what I have and the slot to the right is open.

With your system setup you need to program 32 33 34 35 in hunt group 7 (program #505) make sure that there is no others in that group.
