Have a Legend mail 007MLM 4 port,works fine when programed to outdial to a digital pager. But fails to out dial when programed to outdial to a phone # /voice pager.Seems to be trying,red led on port 4 lights,but does not go through.What would the user hear when answering a outdialed call?? Thanks for any help!!

It will say "Mailbox name, Merlin mail system, you have a new message, to access your new message enter extension and #. To avoid further notification about this message press *,#." Make sure the number is programmed correctly in the outcalling list. When programming the out call number program as follows, {9*15551234567*#} You can have 5 outcalling numbers per box.

by default, voice mail ports are restricted from dialing. Make sure you check the restriction level of the VM ports to insure they are allowed outdialing.

Do you by chance have the cell prefix blocked in programming. As you know cell numbers are not your common prefix numbers. I have run into the same problem before and it was block in toll restriction. Just a thought.
