I have a Definity G3si. I need to know if I can route 911 phone calls to my attendant or how to monitor 911 calls with crisis alert.

add crss-alert feature button

To disable crisis alert in progress, instruct the attd to note the crisis-alert extension and name in order to direct emergency services correctly. Press the crisis alert button 4 times to return to normal operations.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the info. One more question I am trying to set up a test extension to see if the alert works. The number I am using is 4445. How would I set this up in ars in order for the dialing of 4445 to alert the console.
Thanks for the answer by the way.

Well, I can tell you that going ahead and testing "live" with your local 911 dispatcher is perfectly acceptable, so long as it's a quick call. Start by telling the dispatcher that you are testing 911 for your business, and use the opportunity to verify the physical address of the location that you are dialing from. If it's not right, you'll want to get in touch with the phone company and get things updated. So trying it live kills 2 birds with 1 stone.

If you really don't want to try it live, try just dialing the 911 (not 9-911 option) and rather than replacing 2 digits (11) with 911, I don't see why entering a 7-digit direct-dial number wouldn't work. An extension won't be effective because you'll essentially have already dialed out.

Good luck!
