I installed a 617T33-KML in a clamshell into my 511A blackplane and noticed an odd error with WinSPM 7.0.
Boards as follow: 391A3 Power 617T33-KML 408 GS/LS MLX 408 GS/LS MLX 008 MLX 617A49 Merlin Messaging R1.1 Blank
I'm able to program fine with my 20L plugged into port 1, and phones work ok in standard ports. VM picks up fine with prelim config.
When I connect to the processor with WinSPM using my old legend adapter and cable into the ADMIN port, it gets to the point where it reads the boards and hangs. It pops up an error box saying that slots 1-3 cannot be recognized. and gives a nots at the bottom that ATL boards only work in Legend systems. But none of mine are ATL.
Anyone encountered this problem and how do you rectify it?

yea, I have had that problem too. I think there is a glitch in the Magix. It should still let you program just fine.

yeah, i got it all programmed fine. just seemed odd.
but now i really do have a weird problem:
i have one of the ports on the 016 TRR set to ring on all lines and operate our shop ringer. and it works fine when i get an incoming call. but it will randomly do a couple of ring cycles with no ring trigger. is there some other setting im missing on this? i didnt have this problem being set up the same way on our r6.1 i just pulled to put in the magix.

The board issue is that the 408MLX boards are a prior hardware vintage that is not upgradeable for Magixs features. You need boards that have a suffix -U or -ID caller-ID to use Quick Access and CTI. The phones will work fine. I didn't see the 016 in your set-up but do a extension info print to see if it was included by mistake in any coverage. Then try changing ports. The new power supply may be too hot for the older circuits.

I have noticed from time to time working with analog ports on a legend or magix I will see some wierd things happen because of compatability issues with the external devices they connect too. Try making the analog port connected to your external equipment a fax exension and see if that solves the problem.
