I have a Avaya Partner ACS R6 and my customer wants to add a long distance T1 from Quest with 8 channels of 800 numbers inward and outward . The other 16 channels will be used for data.
He wants to use an Adtran TSU-100 to interface with the network T1. I understand the TSU-100 only has 1 cpe out port.
Since,he is needing to distribute voice & data separate, does anyone know if there is a dsu/csu unit that will distribute a voice port and a data port?
I think he needs a standalone unit for the voice side from the network unit and I will need a unit that I can x-connect the voice t&r's from a 66 block into the Avaya ACS co ports. The Avaya ACS does not support a T1 card for long distance T1.
Avaya Partner ACS will only suport a T1 for DIDS & point to point Avaya's.
Tks...for any help............

You're going to have to go from CSU to MUX to mix your voice and data, can't be done with just a CSU.

Paradyne 3160 CSU/DSU will break it out for you. I have one if you need it.

I have a new Adtran 616 total access if you want to break out up to 16 voice and a V.35 for data. Works great if you don't have a T-1 card and want to channel the voice.
