I am having issues setting a PRI with Eschelon Telecom. Has anyone else setup a T-1 through them?

can't seem to get any voice to go over the PRI. The d-channel is up, and I can grab trunks, get dial tone, and dial out, but then just dead air. Same on inbound. they can ring in and the caller ID even shows, but just dead air.

z, this makes me think the b channels assigned for service are not identical at the pbx and network provider. caller id is transported on the d channel. good luck.

Sounds like wrong protocol. Run a trace on the PRI group and look at the setup message. It will say unknown format if its wrong. Make sure they are set to AT&T custom.

turned out to be a CLEC issue. They did not have the B channels configured correctly.
