I have a quick question about the Partner ringing cadences. I've heard some of the definity cadences & was wondering if the partner had the same cadences. I have some employees from the main office (definity)moving to a branch office with a Parter, and was trying to make things somewhat similar there. Thanks.

The ACS, beginning with Release 3, can have different ring tones on a per LINE basis. 8 tones are available, but only No.1 and No.8 sound like "phones", the others are rising or decending musical notes.
Also, incoming, intercom, and transfered calls have a different cadence, with straight ring, ring with 1-beep after, and ring with 2-beeps after.

Thanks for the info so far. I did know that the cadences are only selectable by line, but the other six cadences that sound like rising or descending musical tones, are those the ones commonly found on the definity phones? Thanks.
