A customer inherited a Partner II system with a Partner Mail VS r1 (2 ports / 20 mailboxes) but needs at least 4 ports and 25 mailboxes. Is there a flash card upgrade for an R1? One refurb supplier I normally deal with is telling me no upgrade in PMVS until at least R4....but I thought there was.

To get 4 ports you will need VS 5 and above.

dtmf,
OK thanks.....for some reason I was thinking that the PMVS always could be upgraded to 4 ports (even R1) but then again I can't remember what I ate for breakfast this morning!

The only upgrade you can do to those VM systems is add a 20 mailbox flash card.

I thought you said that your system was down...
