Can you program a "headset" button on a partner 18D or 34D telephone like a definity telephone that allows you to go off hook without lifting the handset.

No, Partner doesn't support that yet, I really think they should have added that feature long ago.

Thanks for the prompt response. Will have to buy the headset/handset base units for each telephone that wants it. (Maybe that's the real reason not available)

Partner will never support this. It is an analog system and uses base adapters plugged into the AUX port on the bottom of each phone. If you have the correct base it works without the handset being lifted. www.headsetsdirect.com Tell them you have a Partner.
