Was it because of the firewall? I did notice that when I first set the system up that the VM Pro did not work with the firewall on.

The word from Avaya was that they did not support Windows SP2 for Vmail Pro. I just thought the info might be useful.

Update. Avaya doesn't support Voicemail Pro on Windows XP period. Suggest Server 2003.

That is news to me, The installer put in IP Office and VM Pro on Win XP machine at my site. If they do not support it what do I do now?

Go to number 15 in this document and it tells you that Avaya does in fact support VMPro in XP pro and XP Home.

I totally agree, however in discussions with Avaya they are saying that XP is not technically a server platform and could (possibly, with heavy use) turn vmail into a zombie which requires a reboot. They have suggested server 2000 or 2003.
