I added a new line to an 820 system and programmed to ring at all the necessary phones, but for some reason, one extension will not ring the new line, no matter what I do. I tried another phone, and it still won't ring the new line. The old lines ring just fine on this extension, so it's not the volume, or anything like that. Any thoughts??

Yes, slid the T/P switch to P, touched the line button, dialed *37, slid switch back to center. As I say, I had no trouble with any other extension using this method

Can you try another exenstion port in the 820 and program the line ringing options the same? Maybe its something about this particular port. I've seen some of the old Merlin 820 and 410 ext. ports do weird things.

I think that's the case. All other extensions program just fine. Maybe it's time for a new system?
