One of our customers has a Partner voice messaging pc card. Occasionally, once or twice a year, the system will tell a user that is checking their mail that they have old messages. The user will go to check the messages & they are ancient. I already defaulted the entire vm system & reprogrammed it, so that is not it. Anyone else run into this problem? Thanks!

I thought you said that your system was down...

Make sure every time a message is left in a mailbox the msg light comes on. I had a simular problem a while back. If the msg light isn't comming on and you log in to VM the new msg becomes old. Suspect a live bad jack or cable pair wired to a location where there was once a phone. This will shunt down the 25v msg waiting.
