I want to begin collecting CDR data from a G3v8i. I have an 8400B data module and pollable storage unit. The switch will not let me set up a digital station port as a type=pdm. I thought this was how you connected a data module to the system. What am I doing wrong? Is there another way to output the data?

Thanks

You can use the EIA serial port on the back of the processor or a data module. The command is "add data next" the port is a digital phone port.

Thanks gkar. I guess I didn't have enough coffee yesterday cause when I looked today I saw I was trying to use an analog port-DUH.
All good to go now.
