Greetings all,
i have a few questions, i have a customer who has an acs, i purchased the ver 7 admin software to connect to it and reconfigure it. My question is what do i need to do to connect the admin software via laptop to the brain.
Do i need the pcmcia remote admin card?
Do i need some cable?
Where does it connect?
etc... etc...

Your going to need a Remote Access Card. And thats it. Then it's just setting up your internal modem and calling into it with the software.

Or you can direct connect if you are on site with your laptop to the admin port via the serial connection com port 1 on your pc with a 9 to 25 pin db connector and an rs232 adapter, but you still have to setup the Remote Admin Password #730

Be aware, the Partner is VERY picky about the modem you are using to dial in with.
