My company has an old Merlin 820 with the paging cartridge. Recently we bought a pagepac 6, two speakers and a bogen tuner. Everything works great except it won't page and when we hook the tuner to our MOH port we don't get any sound.

I followed the instructions exactly, Tip port green wire, Ring port red wire, C and C1 black and yellow. Music comes through on the speakers just fine but when I pick up the phone and press intercom 6 it beeps on the handset but won't page and the music continues to play. I noticed on the pagepac 20 directions the black and yellow wires are connected togother on C but that keeps the music coming through as that is making a constant short like a page should be coming through.

The supplier I bought it from is sending me a trunk adapter to see if we can get that to work. Can anyone help please!!

Thanks!

It sounds like with the contacts shorted together you are always in page mode. That would probably stop any new pages from going through.
