"If you install the IP Office, please pack your bags, get the help wanted ads, and be prepared to hit the road. You do realize the disruption caused every time you add a telephone to the software? Do you realize you'll spend a fortune making your network strong enough to support this system? How about multiple call processing at the answering positions?"

Thanks for your input!

You evidently haven't installed one lately. Adding a telephone to the system merely requires a configuration merge. We are installing them practically weekly, they work well, and they can do virtually anything.

I think I would have to agree with BW. We have a ton of these systems out there up and running with no problems at all.

I personaly think it is one of the easiest managed VOIP systems on the market. The manager software is mostly piont and click.
Additions are a breeze with just a simple merge conf.

It depends a lot on the vendor you chose to set it up for you. We prefer if the company has a IT person in house.

There have been some issues with the IP phones but again that is up to your vendor to know your application.

To address your network, we have them running across very simple SOHO switches to the Avaya high end switches with no problem.

Again it is all up to your equip. vendor.
But as the IP office goes it is a very rock solid system with features only others can dream of.

This is my very honest oppion

Thanks,

Just a note....I'm not the one that made the original statement. It was left as a reply to another post I made recently. I'm about to purchase IP Office & I wanted clarification. So far, so good. [Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]

Well I think you would be very pleased with the product.

Again it has all to do with the vendor and the way it is conf.

If you need a quote please give us a call.
I am only a tech but give me a e-mail ( in my profle ) and I can get it to the right person.

Thanks,
