Guys and Gals,

I use to do phone systems like 15 years ago, and I don't remember a thing, I got into Unix Systems Admin and well forgot how to program phone systems.

The small startup I'm working for just bought a Merlin System and I'm trying to set it up but need some help.

We have 3 incoming lines, and the system has 3 408 GS/LS-ID MLX Boards and 1 2port 007 MLM Board. I just want a basic setup where 1 line is for inbound and 2 for outbound calls. On inbound (don't know if this has it) have auto-attendant to route to peoples extensions, and if no answer well go to voice mail.

We are a small company and don't need like calling groups or anything extra like that but just need the above. Currently this is setting at my desk waiting for me to get it programmed before I go setting it up in the phone closet, doesn't help that the phone closet has a server rack in there taking up all the space which i'm trying to get out of there, pre my time as the SA [Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]

Thanks in advance.

Trell

HI
Could you complete your profile with location.

At the top of the page there is a link to manuals. John @manuals plus can supply the legend and mail manuals.

If you get totally lost and we know your location ,there may a member on this board
that can come in and do your set up
and you can maintain.
