Hello All,

Long time reader of the forums, first time poster.

I have a customer who has Avaya Merlin Messaging on a Magix 2.1 switch. Unfortunately, they no longer know the admin password. Resetting the system is not an option. Is there a way to determine the version of Merlin Messaging without the system manager password?

If you bought the system together at start and your proccesor is an 2.1.

Your mail should be an 2.5

As far as getting the release on the mail I am most certain you can get that through winspm or the console through board inventary.

If you have forgotten your admin password on your mail, give me an e-mail and I can help you with that.

Hope this helps,
