I am trying to get SNMP traps to work on a managment server for the 8700. We want to get this to work for our customers without the purchasing the Avavy Suite. Does anyone know how to do this?

The traps can be sent from the server. The setup it standard using common ports. The help in the server setup configuration GUI will tell you what to do.

See the thing is, we have pbx sending the alarms to our server. The only problem, the codes that are coming threw are jibberish. How to i get that information coming into the server to be readable? The only way that i can find is to use the avaya fault and perfomance in asa.
