Are the mailboxes and extensions in the business
and the house the same.

You may need to reassign the mailboxes 01-02 Etc
to the correct extensions in the house.

You said i think that the mail answers and takes a message so i assume #505 is 78/79 no others .

and you have voice mail cover assigned on exts in house

What you should have done is defaulted the VM when you re-used it. I would do that now instead of fooling around trying to figure out what's wrong.

You will then have 8 mailboxes assigned to extensions 10 through 17.

Do that and if it still doesn't work let us know.

Can you call Intercom 78 and 79 and get each to answer with the Voice Mail greeting?

Put an auto-intercom button for 78 & 79 on a set, and watch the port activity, especially 79 after a message has been left.
