We have sites that have analog main line and PRI also and we are having problems with customers getting busy signals. Is there a way to call an analog line and have a feature on it that if it is busy to roll that call onto the PRI (DID range)? These site receive many calls at the same time and currently if someone calls the main line the next person get the BUSY. We are using Comdial FXII and have started looking at the IP OFFICE 406v2 for our large sites. Can anlog and PRI co-exist and take multiple calls or do we have to move to all PRI?

Move the analog to the pri. That should solve your problem. It does not need to be in your DID range.

Much cheaper to do it as jwooten says than to pay for mulitiple paths to forward to your PRI.

Also think you should keep the anolog line in case the pri goes down. Thay can still get one call in or out.

Recently set up a customer with 3 analog lines in hunt, with Call Forward on Busy from the 3rd line to the Operator's DID number. Works really well, and they have analog backup just in case
