Have a Partner with Partner VM. Has 6 CO lines. Currently all 6 lines RNA to a single VM. Want to direct lines 1-3 to VM box 1 and lines 4-6 to VM box 2.

Not sure where to start.

Thanks all.

Well, you don't give much information as to WHICH Partner or VM you've got, and it could be set up a couple of different ways, depending on what features are offered by your combination of hardware.

Start by looking at #208-(Line Number) and see if it shows VM Box-1. If so, type in VM Box-2 instead.

That's what happens when you play with Asterisk too much Tommy. :nono:

Doesn't #208 XX point to an extension number for line ownership?

Isn't that what MagnusFox is asking for?

Currently lines 1-6 are Covered to a specific extension's mailbox, and he wants to change it to 1-3 remaining the same, and lines 4-6 to go to a different mailbox?

#208 will change that IF that's the way the lines are directed to the mailbox.

OR, it could be using Line Ownership (#208 is blank, and #206-7-NN-3, AND there is a Line Ownership set in the Voice Mail).

Without a listing of hardware, we can't determine if #208 is even an option, or if the voice mail supports line ownership vs. call coverage.

That's why I suggested just checking #208 first, it may be that simple!

Or am I missing something???

Actually yes but he may be confused because #208 is going to ask for extension numbers. He needs to do #208 then the extension number of the extension he calls mailbox 1 or 2.
