Is it supported? Other than a CLAN and MEDPRO, do I need anything else? Is it still limited to h.323?
Thanks dave

Yes. You need clan, medpro and the license for each port. What software version are you running? It is H.323. You can do SIP trunking on CM3.0 and up.

What would be the advantage of SIP trunking?

I could be off here, but to my understanding SIP is a standard. So you should be able to connect a SIP trunk from one brand PBX to another and brand PBX.

The benefit of SIP trunking is that it's supported more commonly now. The softswitch that we'll be getting dialtone has it so it will eliminate some boxes.
