I have had a new line come into the building with an existing Merlin Magix system with 3 412 cards in it.

I hooked up the CO line to the 3rd 412 card in the 3 module from the bottom. From what little infor I have found Magix should pick up the new Trunk line automatically.

Now here is my issue. I need to assign this new Trunk line to all extensions on the systyem. The issue is I can not find any good or clear documentation on how to do this.

I have been throughout the System Programming from extension 10 on a 4424 LD + phone and have not really found what I need to do.

I wish the programming guides for the Magix did not stink so much as I have had a hard time trying to figure this out.

I someone out there can give me an easy explaination on how to add this Trunk line to all my phones I would be greatfull.

Thanks,

Mike

A couple years of reading should get you up to speed. I call it independent study of Merlin Magix. After you thought you knew it all.... the last chapter was left out.

The line assignment cannot be left open. Nothing stinks about it especially in a pool.

As a technician I go in and remove dead lines from pool. Economy related I guess?

I find that the manual is great. Ask yourslef, what do I want to do....Add a paging group..... Look in the feature reference......group paging...

Doesn't get much easier....
