The AYC54B Maintenance board has an RJ45 Jack on it...can that board be IP enabled for use with ASA? Will it accept IP via DHCP?

That board is your modem. It has an RJ11, 2 RJ45's and a DB9 connection. The NIC only has 1 RJ45 and usually sits above that board. It would be labeled 100TX.

Thanks but the machine doesn't have NIC in it. I was curious if the maint. board would allow me to connect it to the network just for administration. Being this us a UNIX core I can't drop any old NIC in it.
