I'm working on a magix and I wanna create four digit dial between two sites.Ie. when someone presses 5*** the system dials a designated string of numbers with the wild cards at the end of the string.pauses might also be a factor. similar to destination codes on mics or remote call forward on a definity.

I don't work on a Magix but a Definity. I would expect that your sites are tied together already? You would create the dialing ability in your dial codes and routing table.
I'm sure someone with Magix can help you better.

You're going to want a point-to-point T1 between sites, then it's pretty simple to set up "networking" with a uniform dialing plan. Go to https://support.avaya.com and download the LEGEND Network Reference.

Ah, yes you can create phantom extensions out of unused adjuncts, then RCF them to the outside number. Since you are on PRI's, transferring calls will still have good sound quality, and use 2 channels during the duration of the call.
PM me if you need specifics on how to set it up.
