gotta customer with a switch covering several buildings on a campus. all extension are on copper. two faxes on rstu cards. when they attempt to fax between these two particular machines they seem to time out allowing say 2 pages of a three page document to be transmitted. antbody have any ideas. m

I'm not familar with the units you are talking about, but if the problem is only on campus sounds to me like the levels are too hot.

RSTU = Toshiba. How far between buildings? Have you added the 48V card? Call voice from one to the other and check for noise and volume.

thanks for the input. i told the cust to try a few things. one was a voice call but i have not heard back yet. it should have a the 48v pcb in it but i didn,t order the equip originally so i dont have the paperwork. maybe i can tell in admin. anyway for sure i will check when i go to the jobsite. thanks again. m
