We have installed a PartnerMail r.3 that was purchased used. We have programmed and recoreded the system and to test it internally is working PERFECT. BUT, when an o/s call is picked up by the AA the PREVIOUS owner's greeting is played. We have programmed their day Main menu and recorded it and the night main menu and recorded it, and can listen to them through the menu prompts, but THEY WON'T PLAY when the AA answers. What in the WORLD is going on w/ this thing?
Thanks for ANY light you can shed here.

Sounds like your recorded in the wrong place. Do you have a manual for the voicemail? Why not post the steps that you did to record your greetings, That should give the first clue. Welcome to the forums

That Voice Mail can have up to 3 AA, I'm sure it has been set for multiple. You can change it in the Admin.

Or, look at AA2 and AA3's Line Assignment, again through the Admin mailbox. Deleteing them from AA2 and AA3 will reassign them to AA1

Sometimes it is possible to exit the recording process too early and the greeting isn't saved. You need to continue until you hear "menu definition saved".
If not....call a tech in for an hour to fix it and give you a source of support going forward.

I'm just getting back to this particular problem. I have checked all of the things mentioned here. Only 1 AA is active. I re-recorded the greeting and listened to is playback - it's perfect. I checked the line assignments. I recorded the MAIN MENU GREETING and I followed implicitly the instructions. I have full documentation (available for download from Avaya) on this thing and nothing works. I activate it and call and get the former owners greeting. It's NUTS. Any further suggestions! I'm a bit hesitant to being in another tech and pay them if all of the experience on this site has not seen this problem before. I'm wondering if the V/M system is just faulty - although everything else works perfect. ALl other menus, prompts, and announcements have recoreded and help perfect. The menu prompts go to the right places - this is maddening. Thanks for any input.

You may have Grreting from mailbox instead of a AA. take a look on Line Ownwrship in system programming to verify. Call any other lines instead of main number. Check out Calling Group 770 setup make sure its a Integrated VM type and Pool 70 or what ever assigned to it.
