I have a Partner II R4.1 system. The processor loses programming upon power loss and from what I have found on the internet, the battery is not replaceable. I am looking to replace it with the Partner ACS 7.0 Processor...is it compatible with my current system? I have 206 EC R4.1 modules plus expansion pack.

The R7 will run your 206's but you won't be able to use the second cabinet as they use 308's now to avoid using the second cab. You will need to get a new 5 slot and at least 1 new 18 or 34 button set.
You can also use the R6 which is just as new but you would be able to use your 5 slot with it but you will run into the same problem with only being ablr to put 4 206's with it.

Thanks...sounds like it is just easier to find a replacement refurbed Partner II processor and hope that the battery is not exhausted.

When they are refurbed I would hope that the first thing they do is replace the battery.
I would recomend that you click on the "Equipment" tab on the top of this page.

I have a partner R7 and had a power outage in the area that lasted 2 days... now the day menu is behind a day, I can't figure out how to correct this...I'm new to this system and am having a hard time navigating the manual... any one know the way to do this... in layman's terms...time is fine... just day needs to be reset.
Thanks

we replace those batteries all the time. I think the original batteries are not made but there is anothe comparable one. Its just some soldering on the board which if you dont know what you are doing it can ruin the board

We only recommend that a repair facility replace the batteries on a Partner Plus or Partner II processor. You need to know how to disassemble/reassemble the module and have board level repair equipment and skills as well as a replacement battery. Get it wrong and you will be looking for a new module while your system is down.
Considering the age of the Partner Plus and Partner II, anybody with this problem is better served upgrading to an ACS where capacities permit. Otherwise locate a reputable source of refurbed units.
