I am installing a CD player tomorrow on a magix. The salesperson did not buy an MOH coupler. He told me to splice a x-connect wire to the rca cable and (obviously) program the trunk port. He also said when I do the programming the system will/needs to be reset. The salesperson has some system experience. Any help is appreciated.

It will work-

When you go into programming, to Aux Equip, to set which trunk port you are going to connect to, the system must be idle (or it will lock out any idle phones, and as people hang up from calls, it will lock them out as well, until everyone is off the phone - then it will let you program - all the while making every phone beep loudly!)

Thanks for the help. I will actually be using the earbuds that come with the walkman. I will be splicing the earbuds to single pr. x-connect and crimping an rj11 head onto the x-connect. I'm going there monday to complete.
