I would test it in the office first before I go out. Every time I have tried an R7 with older VS (including release 5), I run into problems.
I would advise using it with an R6 if that's an option...

There is Patch for the VSr5 to take care of DND issues when used with the R7 ACS

VS R5 also has DND issues with ACS R6, unless the VS R5 is above a certain revision. I would also bench test it first, or don't plan on using DND.
