Night service wouldn't keep other extensions from ringing just by picking up x10.
Nope, something was really screwed up here by somebody who didn't know what they were doing programming wise or there is a problem with the system OR the customer doesn't know what they are talking about.
I'll take #3 until I see the problem for myself.
