The system is an Avaya Partner ACS. This may be an easy fix and I hope it is, but I am lost! The system is very basic 21 phones and 6 c.o. lines. For some reason whenever extension 10 is on the phone no other phone will ring, even though they are set to ring. The other phones will only show a flasing line button. Please help :bang:

Are you using an AA on the system?

Sounds like a site visit. Bet you'll find that only ext 10 rings and they want others to ring ONLY when ext 10 is in use. They just don't know how to explain it to you. GOOD LUCK  John C (Not Garand)

its was set for extensions 10,11,and 21 to ring immediately on the first 4 lines when I looked at the programming last week. Over the weekend I set a few of the other extensions not to ring, because no one sits at them. Everything was working fine saturday. But now for some reason none of the other 3 lines will ring when extension 10 is in use. None of the lines are setup in a hunt group they are just assigned the 4 lines to specific buttons and they are all supposed to ring

Default the system and reprogram from scratch. Once you KNOW everything is programmed correctly and it still doesn't work let us know. Be prepared to tell us exactly how you programmed it, what the system config is as well as the releases of the ACS and the messaging if any.
Sitting here listening to second hand information and guessing about possibilities is a waste of time. I would also suggest that you verify this problem in person rather than relying on the customer. I have never seen this happen. Not saying that it can't.
