There is a ton of info on both of the manufacturer's web sites. Anything specific you want to know?

I'm looking for info on the differences between the two systems and which one is a better buy for a customer with 3 locations to network with.

Avaya does not have any comparison on their website about esi.

ESI is a better buy!

Seriously though the ESI integration between multiple sites works very well. They also offer a five year warranty so if you look at the total cost over a five year span ESI will be dramtaically less.

I have several multi - site installs. PM me if you have specific questions or want to talk more.

What I would suggest is to take a look at both systems in a demo from vendors who can show you the differences. I am an IPO subject matter expert, not an ESI one, although I have been trained on, and installed some ESI systems myself, and they were what I considered a great solution for s single site small office with simple needs. They wewre in their serious credit very easy to use for the customers, and they loved that. To be quite frank though I have not installed an ESI for a couple or three years so their capabilities currently is not my area of expertise. I am sure that upsateny is as much better an ESI subject matter expert than I am as to have to defer to him on his products capabilities, costs, features, reliability, and available local technical support options.

I can however help you to evaluate the IPO, so please PM me if you would like information on the Avaya IPO system. A good (best) web site for information on the IPO is IPOfficeinfo.com, check it out as well.

I can not recommend any technology platform, only technicians!

Is that a 5 Year Parts & Labor Warranty or just parts?

What exactly is your role in this? Installer or end user? ESI offers a five year warranty on the product. They obviously can't cover the labor. If you are buying this for your business you can buy the labor part from the dealer. If you are looking to install it (or sub it out) for one of your customers that is a different story.

Just trying to find out as much info as possible on the product. 5 year parts warranty is very good.

I was looking for more of a comparison on the two products side by side but i can't seem to find the info I am looking for.

I think it would be like comparing apples to oranges which is probably why you won't find it done. A better way would be to determine the needs then look at each system to see which best fulfills them.
