Intuity Audix is voice mail. I think you want to forward in your PBX. Correct? If so, what system and software version are you working on?

I hope you can help me. I've been working on this all week. I am the system administrator.
I'm trying to set up a voice mail so that the caller can do things like:
Press 1 to dial by name
Press 2 to dial another extension
Press 0 to be directed to the operator
AND I WANT THEM TO BE ABLE TO STAY ON THE LINE TO LEAVE A VOICE MAIL MESSAGE!!
I set the user's extension up as a Class 11 so I could get to the 3rd page where you fill in the choices you want it to do.
Everything works OK except it never gives the caller the option to actually leave a voice mail message for this extension.
Any ideas????????
Thanks so much!

pherrick,

Welcome to the board. welcome

You would get better results for your question if you would start your own topic explaining what system you have and what the problem is. Instead of hi-jacking another thread.

Thanks,

What exactly are you trying to do, ctmtnbkr? To me it sounds like you want calls for two different extensions (one real and one phantom) to be sent to one voice mailbox.

Am I anywhere close? If so, I have the answer for you. I'll wait for your reply.

That question is from March 4. He's probably been fired by now because he couldn't figure it out.

Oh Hal. You're a nut! I guess I've got to pay closer attention to the original post date...
