Have any of you had any issues using the 9031 on the Magix system. Installed one on our system in our office to test it before taking it to the customer. Worked great. Got it to the customers site, get just one second of DT when going off hook. Using an ETR card to interface.

Unless there is no possible way to be productive with an analog cordless phone I would never recomend a TT of any kind. Every commercial grade analog phone I have ever installed works better than the TT's, and lasts longer with 20 times the range at least.
In the case that the multiple line, and static buttons on the TT are a must charge 300% mark up to cover the issues you will have, and complaints when they realize it works no better than what they can buy at best buy for range, and signal quality.
I can not recommend any technology platform, only technicians!

Are you speaking of re registering the handset to the radio module? The 9030 comes "pre registered" handset to radio module. Can't change it.
As for the analog phone, I agree. A $15.00 Wal-Mart phone seem to have been the perfect answer. However, this long time customer is a gadget freak that doesn't feel that he can live without his cordless phone with the pretty display and buttons. If he could get it, I'm sure it would have whistles also.
The curious thing to me is the one second of dial tone. Can't access intercom, but if you dial 9 immediately upon getting dial tone, the balance of your one second is spent getting system reorder tone, then it goes to silence.

It would tell you if there was a problem with the link. This really soulds like a problem with the Magix. Have you tried a Partner 18D on that port?

No, I haven't tried a telset yet. Duh! Should have done that much earlier. Have used a buttset on the voice pair. No troubles noted with it.

The cordless issues for Lucent Avaya have been issues for a long time.
One good solution is training with a good single line long range cordless.
Now they are forced to use call pickup groups and transfers.
This is Not an easy answer for cordless on this switch but a lot less expensive in the long run.

I would much rather do that myself, but he insists on having the functions of the TT. The boss says to make it work, so I'm now cowering in a corner!
