I've purchased a used Partner Messaging R1 module and would like to reset it back to factory defaults so that I can configure voice mail for our office. From what I can tell on this forum, some kind of "PM" is sent (I don't know what that is, is that a password reset procedure?)
I know you guys frown upon purchasing grey-market items, but I work for a non-profit organization and money is very tight, except they have access to me and I'm good with computer systems and ok with Partner stuff. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Posting backdoor passwords is prohibited on open forums such as Sundance.
One of the Avaya mods will be in touch via PM to assist you.

No, PM is a Private Message from one member to another. Through it they will advise you of how we go about resetting passwords. We will never give the actual information out, they will call into your system and reset it remotely after confirming that you are who you say you are. Also, depending on the benevolence of the moderator and whether he believes your story, there may or may not be a charge for this service.

Thanks for the PM and emails Merlinman. For the rest of the group, before Merlinman and I got started, I discovered the username/password on my own... it was actually default. My mistake is that I assumed the admin 'extension' was XXXX# instead of X#.
But thanks again for your posts.
