We have only had this problem with 1 of the phones we shipped out to a customer out of the 1000's we have sold. But we get quite a few in here for repair with similar problems that were not refurbed the best.

DJG, I looked at DL's web-site and it doesn't say that they are an Authorized Avaya Business Partner or Distributor.
Could it be a gray market or bad refurb issue?

Gray market- no telling where that stuff comes from. I like to think it's like Home Depot, manufacturers dump their bad lots on them rather than scrapping and I think that's what you got.

I to haven't had any problems and as mdanial and hbiss I have several hundred out there.

It's all about the dealer you buy from that will be there to support you. We have many times replaced phones that where out of factory warranty just because it was the right thing to do.

I have hundreds of these phones in service and I can honestly say I don't have the display problems your talking about.

Most suppliers give 2 to 5 year replacement warranties. Just ask them to ship you another.
