SPM and Verizon FIOS...will they work together using dial up modems?

Quick answer is they should. I don't know if there is anybody here with experience who can confirm it because it is so new. I think you can look at dial-up and FIOS in general for an idea.

I did check with Verizon FIOS tech support and they said FIOS dial tone will work fax machines and alarm panels....dial up modems..they weren't sure about...I'm sure the truth is out there.

Around here we have a rural CO-OP that went to fiber a few years ago. Haven't had any problems with faxes or modems. But for some reason it will not work with most alarm panels. :shrug:
